3rd Annual Plant Reliability and Predictive Maintenance PDF Print E-mail

JMF176C - 468X60

In today’s business environment, manufacturers are faced with the challenge of growing production demands with existing machinery and equipment, while continuing to cut costs. The most apparent cost that drags down productivity improvements is unplanned equipment and manufacturing process downtime.  This failure is the direct effect of the unreliability

Proper maintenance of plant equipment can significantly reduce the overall operating cost, while boosting the productivity of the plant.  Although many management personnel often view plant maintenance as an expense, a more positive approach in looking at it is to view maintenance works as a profit center. The key to this approach lies in a new perspective of proactive maintenance.

Maintenance improvement initiatives can link to strategic success in a global market. It will help to improve the business, optimise quality of products and will have a direct effect in the bottom line of a company.

This event will provide an opportunity to maintenance and reliability professionals to benchmark from each other’s experiences and expertise. The major difference in this year’s event is the shift from traditional maintenance to a more strategic approach and involving management to achieve an effective maintenance strategy to improve maintenance processes.
