Innovation in Industrial Engineering
Date: 28 – 30 October 2009
Place: Roodevallei Country Lodge, Pretoria

The world is demanding change. Change in our thinking, change in the way we work and change in the way we employ resources. Business expects innovation to thrive in a highly competitive global economy. What does Innovation mean to the Industrial Engineer in South Africa? At the 2009 SAIIE Conference you will find answers to this question by sharing current practice and research with like-minded Industrial Engineers.
We are happy to announce the first peer-reviewed SAIIE conference in 2009! Delegates are offered two tracks for submission of papers: the applied engineering track and the academic track. Papers submitted for the applied engineering track will be approved on submission of the abstract only. Papers submitted for the academic track will be approved by peer review on submission of the full paper, and published in the conference proceedings. The colloquia in 2008 were highly successful and we continue our discussions in 2009 on relevant topics of interest lead by panels of experts.
